Eric has
performed professionally in Alabama, Mississippi, and
Georgia. He spent four 4 years in various ensembles
at the University of Alabama and also played numerous
private and public functions throughout the region.
He has played in masterclasses with Giacomo Gates, Frank
Vignola, Gene Bertoncini, and John Adams.
Education:
Eric holds a B.M. in
Jazz Studies from the University of Alabama. He has
taken private lessons with Musicians Hotline columnist
Jeff Beasley, Jazz Ambassador Tom Wolfe, and renowned
jazz educator Jerry Coker.

Teaching Experience:
Eric
has five years of private teaching experience at the
Guitar Gallery in Tuscaloosa, AL. His studio, which
included 30+ students, ranged from beginners to more
advanced students in areas including but not limited
to theory, harmony, jazz harmony and composition. Eric
takes a fresh approach with each student, allowing them
to work on what excites and inspires them. He will tailor
a lesson plan exclusively for the student and excels
when it comes to showing a student several different
ways in which to understand an idea. He wants every
student to feel comfortable with what they are working
on, and encourages them to raise any and all questions
they may have about their current curriculum.

Performing:
With 25 years of guitar, mandolin and bass playing experience
under his belt, Bill has gigged extensively, including tours
of Europe, the Middle East and the United States. He has toured
and performed with local artists Danny Shafer, Aquarian Voodoo,
Pete Kartsounes, Haywire and numerous others. He currently
plays with local singer/songwriter Daniella Katzir, the Pete
Kartsounes Band and local banjo hero Kane Hollins.
Education:
Bill studied music
theory, performance, composition and improvisation at Berklee
College of Music and Naropa Institute under the tutelage of
such luminaries as Art Lande, Mark Miller and Jerry Granelli.
He received his BA at the University of Colorado. He has attended
numerous master classes featuring the likes of Chris Thile,
Peter Rowan and Ronny McCoury.

Teaching Experience:
Bill has over 10 years of teaching experience, both privately
and through music schools. He had a long stint teaching with
the acclaimed Americana Music Academy in Lawrence, Kansas
where he guided students of all ages and ability through their
musical journeys. He has taught a large number of private
students as well. Bill's teaching philosophy is that anybody
can excel in music with the proper guidance. In his years
as an instructor, Bill has come to recognize that different
people require different teaching approaches. His lessons
focus on the individual student, with emphasis on what the
student wants to accomplish and how the student learns.

Performing:
Holden Young performs in the Colorado, Arizona, and
Wyoming mountain area. Combining rock, reggae, funk
& world music with his original lyrics Holden Young
captivates listeners and propels dancers. Growing up
in Maine, Holden went on through Boston (where he graduated
from Berklee College of Music), Nashville (recorded
first album in 2005, Not Much & Everything)
& currently resides in Boulder, Colorado.
Education:
Holden
has earned a B.M. from Berklee College of Music in Boston
where he studied with guitar chair Larry Baione, Wayne
Krantz, and percussionist Jamey Haddad. With 15 years
of guitar study alongside 6 years of piano & 2 years
studying world rhythms & percussion, Holden has
a vast knowledge of all popular music styles.

Teaching Experience:
Holden has 6 years of teaching experience ranging from
children to adults, beginners to advanced. His focus
on Rock, Funk, Reggae, Blues, Jazz, Folk, Acoustic &
Electric music has given him a wide range of styles
and music history knowledge. His teaching style is very
adaptive to the interests of his students and can range
from basic chords to elaborate style development. He
is able to incorporate music theory into his lessons
so that students are also able to grow and learn on
their own within their interests. Holden is also an
accomplished improviser and enjoys giving his students
the tools needed to express themselves in many creative
ways.

Performing:
Fatima has played in a variety of bands and musical
shows, including "Fame" and "Grease."
She has also performed for weddings and other engagements.
Over the years, she has received several awards in classical
music competitions. Fatima plays a unique variety of
musical styles and has performed anything from traditional
Classical Music to Middle Eastern improvisation and
the Blues. She is currently working on a collaborative
project entitled, " The Free Land Explorers,"
incorporating the art of group musical improvisation
and dance.
Education:
Fatima
began her musical training at the early age of seven
and has accumulated seventeen years of musical experience.
Fatima received her B.A. at Naropa University where
she studied musical improvisation and received her degree.

Teaching Experience:
Fatima has been sharing her musical experience with
the Boulder community for five years. She is a proficient
teacher in many styles of guitar and works very well
with small children and adults. Fatima aspires to provide
her students with all the skills necessary to allow
them to express themselves freely through their instrument.
She provides a relaxed and positive environment for
optimum learning and adds a degree of fun and excitement
to every lesson. Fatima believes that everyone is unique;
therefore she adjusts her teaching methods and materials
to the needs of each student.
