Performing:
Eric has
performed professionally in Alabama, Mississippi, and
Georgia. He spent four 4 years in various ensembles
at the University of Alabama and also played numerous
private and public functions throughout the region.
He has played in masterclasses with Giacomo Gates, Frank
Vignola, Gene Bertoncini, and John Adams.
Education:
Eric holds a B.M. in
Jazz Studies from the University of Alabama. He has
taken private lessons with Musicians Hotline columnist
Jeff Beasley, Jazz Ambassador Tom Wolfe, and renowned
jazz educator Jerry Coker.

Teaching Experience:
Eric
has five years of private teaching experience at the
Guitar Gallery in Tuscaloosa, AL. His studio, which
included 30+ students, ranged from beginners to more
advanced students in areas including but not limited
to theory, harmony, jazz harmony and composition. Eric
takes a fresh approach with each student, allowing them
to work on what excites and inspires them. He will tailor
a lesson plan exclusively for the student and excels
when it comes to showing a student several different
ways in which to understand an idea. He wants every
student to feel comfortable with what they are working
on, and encourages them to raise any and all questions
they may have about their current curriculum.

Reggae,
Latin
and Jazz.
